"Green Up" Nashville

Keep America Beautiful and Keep TN Beautiful annouce a massive litter cleanup and beautification to be held in Nashville as part of the Great American Cleanup. Thousands of TN residents will gather at Bicentennial Mall Thurs. May 14th and break off into groups to "Green Up" Nashville. Make plans now to be "One of a Thousand" volunteers from every county to join this effort in Nashville at 8 AM until 4 PM. Lunch and entertainment will be provided.

The transfer station behind the Sheriff's office is listed under BFI in the phone book. Trash can be taken there at no cost if you show an electric bill.
